How does our photo booth work?
- Our booth is fully automated with a touch screen that starts the process. It’s a simple as Push, Pose, Print.
What kind of camera do you use?
- Our booth is equipped with a Nikon D7000 combined with a professional studio strobe light. This is a very high quality DSLR camera guaranteed to capture amazing quality images.
What kind of printer do you use?
- We use a professional dye sublimation printer that produces high quality prints in less than 20 seconds.
Can you display the images on our projector?
- Yes, provided your venue has internet access we can arrange to have the images shown on your projector screen. However your projector will need to have an hdmi input.
How is the quality of the image that comes from our booth?
- We use professional DSLR and studio lighting for our booth so images are much higher quality than the traditional webcam that is used in most other booths.

How many people can you get into the booth?
- The open air booth can fit in as many as 10 people.
How much room does the booth require?
- The booth itself only takes up about 2ft x 2ft space. The farther you stand from the booth, the more people you can fit. So you can choose to stand 2 feet away from the booth to fit the approximately 2 people into frame or you can stand 5 feet away and fit approximately 6-10 people in the frame. So it is really all depends on your venue and how you would like the images to be captured. To further reduce the amount of space required you can also choose not to have a backdrop, instead you can use a colorful wall at your venue. justaBOOTH is flexible and we always accommodate your event to the best of our ability.
Is there a limit to how many photos we can take?
- You and your guest can take unlimited photos for the entire duration of your event.
- We provide one print for each guest that is in the photo session and everyone is welcome to keep coming back for a new session.
Is there an age limit to whom can use the booth?
- We welcome guests of all ages to use the booth and to have fun, but due to safety reasons we do ask that all children who are using the booth to be supervised by an adult at all times.
Will someone from justaBOOTH be at my event?
- Yes! We always have a professional attendant at the event.
Will I get to see the custom graphic design before my event?
- Our in house designer will create a few options for you to choose from based on your event colors, decor, theme, logo etc. We will email you samples prior to the event to select the one you want and suggest any changes you would like to see. We are not happy until you are happy!
Can you customize props specific to the them of my event?
- Yes, provided there is enough notification ahead of time we can customize theme specific props upon request.
What kind of backdrops do you have?
- We offer white, black, and green screen backdrops with each of our packages. However also offer customized backdrops to a certain degree for an additional charge. Please provide the details of the backdrop that you want for your event at time of booking and our associate will help you. We love “Pinterest” type backdrops and we’re not afraid to explorer beyond black and white.
Where can I use the Booth?
- Our booth is 100% portable and can transported up stairs, elevators and through any door way. justaBOOTH is perfect for Weddings, Birthdays, Baptisms, Banquets, Corporate Events (Conferences, Customer Appreciation, Product Launches), Parties (Christmas, Halloween, Socials), Trade Shows, Golf Tournaments, Fundraisers, Charity Functions, School Events (graduations, rallies, proms), Reunions and many many more….
What layout options do you have for prints?
How do I book?
- You can book by filling out the form in our BOOK NOW page. Once the form is submitted, we will review the booking request and inform you of whether the date is available. After we inform you that the date is available you will have to submit a 50% deposit via e-transfer to justaboothphotobooth@gmail.com to complete the booking. After we receive your deposit an electronic receipt will be provided and that will finalize your booking. We also accept cash or cheque, but e-transfer is simply more convenient for both you are us.
Do you travel and is there a travel fee?
- Yes we do travel and anywhere within approximately 50 km each way of the Edmonton area is included. When traveling beyond the 50 km, we charge $0.75/km each way. An example would be Red Deer (which we travel to frequently). Red Deer = 150km from Edmonton. Subtract the 50 included kilometers to get 100km each way. This equals 200km round trip or $150 traveling fee.
